Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
Reports To: Property Manager (Licensed) or Broker (Licensed)

Position Overview
We are currently hiring an Assistant Property Manager to join our team of property management professionals. This role supports the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential homes and/or apartment units under the supervision of a Licensed Property Manager or Broker. This position is well-suited for a candidate with 1-3 years of experience who is interested in developing a long-term career in property management. A real estate license is not required, though licensed candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
• Show apartment units and common areas at multifamily properties
• Distribute and collect pre-printed rental applications
• Prepare draft lease documents for review and execution by a licensed property manager
• Assist with tenant communications and routine correspondence as directed
• Conduct move-in and move-out walkthroughs for documentation purposes
• Assist with property and maintenance inspections and monitor service requests
• Schedule and track preapproved maintenance, repairs, turnovers, and renovations
• Prepare market analyses for review and approval by a licensed property manager
• Maintain company records in accordance with established policies
• Perform related administrative and clerical duties as assigned under licensed supervision
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university
• 1-3 years of relevant property management, real estate, or administrative experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Compensation (California Pay Transparency)
$30.00 – $34.00 per hour, depending on experience level and licensure
This is a non-exempt position.
